So it’s a late Saturday night and if I was to dj at a party tonight, we’d be listening 17 minutes to Elegia by New Order, as I am going through a severe, revived Duckie crush.
I have a great weakness for American High School and College movies, and the character Duckie is a favorite, coming from ‚Pretty in Pink‘ (1986), a romantic-comedy about love and social cliques in a mid-80s American high school. It is one of those movies you might have to search a bit for to find, but it is well worth it. Not so much because of the politically correct and building morale, as for the sympathetic caracters and the odd one out always has the best style!
