Irgendwann musste es ja passieren – im Herbst letzten Jahres wurde ich all den skandinavischen Königen des Minimalismus plötzlich überdrüssig, ich verbannte etliche pastellfarbene Kinkerlitzchen aus meiner Wohnung und schwor mir, fortan wieder mehr auf Nummer Robust zu gehen, es mit mehr Gemütlichkeit, einer Handvoll Makramees und satten Erdtönen zu versuchen. Jetzt geht der Wahnsinn in die nächste Runde und unsere Küche muss dran glauben. Am liebsten wäre mir ein Industrietraum gepaart mit schwerem, warmem Holz, weil ich von solchen Späßen über den Dächern Neuköllns aber vorerst nur phantasieren kann, läute ich die neue Zeit der wohligen Gediegenheit ganz einfach mit Keramik ein.
Tschüss, du olles edles Porzellan, zurück zu den Wurzeln. Am liebsten in Form von einem mindestens so sattem Blau wie das des Löwentors in Babylon.
