One main reason might be the lack of support that goes beyond saying „good job“ when it’s already done. I always missed a mentor. Someone who fearlessly shares knowledge and skills. Quite everyone seems to talk a lot about rising by lifting others, since years, but I still see a lot of people who are simply afraid of embracing the power of community (blame it on the system). Which at the end results in a world of soloist who think they have to accomplish everything on their own. And if they need to ask for help, they often think that means they are a failure.
