The truth is: I never really „turn off“ and I am pretty bad at relaxing. But I try to focus on good things, on small details and on positive vibes. And I like those tiny breaks during the day when I am on my balcony, drink a coffee and call a friend. When I enjoy this so-called „me time“ thingy. Even for five minutes. That is my „turn off“ mode. And I lovelovelove flower shopping. It makes me incredibly happy to bring a bunch of new favorites home and let them spread some good energy and good vibes And as you can imagine: I need a lot of those mood boosters these days. #ScotchOnMe #zalandostyle →Another week went by and intellectually I did not do much but wonder. About discourse, identity and empathy. About opinions vs. esteem. About what it felt like to be a single mum, to date all those beautiful humans and finally find the one. About why people question feminist relationships and why I meanwhile distinguish sharply between financial and emotional dependancy. I found myself reflecting on living in a body that I respect and find amazing until it starts to hurt again. I asked myself why as an happy atheist I keep on talking to the universe. I decided to shut up if in doubt. To listen even more. And write another Lockdown letter to my son instead of cooking a proper meal. That’s it. Oh, and I starred at puppies, too.
